YSU loses to Missouri State 38-34

The Youngstown State football team lost to Missouri State in stunning fashion, 38-34 Saturday in a Missouri Valley Football Conference game at Stambaugh Stadium.

The Penguins were outscored 28-7 in the second half, falling to the a Bears team that entered the game with a 1-9 record.

The loss ends the Penguins' playoff hopes.
