Rev. Stroble is new pastor of Heritage Presbyterian Church

The Rev. Kristin Faye Stroble was installed as the new pastor at Heritage Presbyterian Church (USA), 1951 Mathews Road, on Oct. 30.
Rodger Nishioka, associate professor of Christian education at Columbia Theological Seminary, delivered the sermon.
Also participating were the Rev. Carolyn Griffeth, moderator; the Rev. Deborah Dockstader of First Presbyterian Church in Girard; Elder Ruth Cole of New Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Lisbon; the Rev. Dr. Nicholas Mager, First Presbyterian Church in Youngstown; and Elder Carole Rummell of First Presbyterian Church in Mineral Ridge.
Members of Heritage who participated in the service included Ken Brayer, Joe Hallas, Linda Evans, Carol Gesacion, Charlette Sackella and Dave Kramer.
Also attending were Rev. Ms. Stroble’s parents, Robert and Marilyn from Stow, along with family and friends.
Special music was provided by the Chancel Choir directed by David K. Stiver and featuring a solo by Tera Lobaugh.
A luncheon at the church followed the service.
Ms. Stroble earned a master of divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Ga., in May 2011. Heritage is her first call as a pastor.
Her undergraduate work was at the College of Wooster, where she earned a bachelor of music education eegree in 2007 and graduated cum laude.
