McDonald House Charities will spread warmth with coats
YOUNGSTOWN
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mahoning Valley & Western Pa. is gearing up for its second annual “Give-A-Coat” campaign with three events that will spread warmth to Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
The board of RMHC will spend more than $20,000 to buy new coats for children whose families have been casualties of the country’s tough economy.
Three leading agencies will identify the thousands of needy children from each of the counties. They will distribute letters/vouchers to the parents and guardians of the children who qualify for the coats.
Recipients will be pre-screened by the participating agencies to qualify for the vouchers that allow parents to select the free winter coats for the children (no walk-ins accepted) at one of the following distribution locations:
COLUMBIANA COUNTY
When: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
