Chow Chow event will help hospital

CANFIELD

Howard Hanna’s Poland office is planning its annual Chow Chow event to raise money for the Children’s Free Care Fund of Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley.

The event will take place Nov. 30 at Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road.

Doors will open at 4 p.m., and a fashion show begins at 6:30.

Among the evening’s features will be dinner, dessert and a cash bar, along with two fashion shows.

There also will be a Fashion, Beauty and Health Expo with dozens of local vendors displaying their products and services. They have donated a basket of their goods to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, as well as a giving tree decorated with gift cards to local restaurants and businesses. There will be 50-50 raffles and a new car raffle.
