Concert at church to mark centennial

In honor of the 100th year of the dedication of the sanctuary of Struthers Presbyterian Church, 100 Poland Ave., the church will sponsor a free concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday featuring Bob Noble and Rochelle Joy. Noble is the founder of Lost Then Found ministries, which has written and produced more than a dozen albums. Joy has appeared with Top Hat Productions as Mary Magdalene in “The Earth Trembled.”

Kent Gospel Choir to give free concert

SALEM

Kent State University’s Gospel Choir will perform a free concert at 3 p.m. Sunday in the second floor auditorium of the Kent State City Center, 230 N. Lincoln Ave.

The choir will perform an array of songs, including “Show Me Your Ways,” “I Bless Your Name” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name.”

Tony Barge concert at Firemen’s Club

EAST BUTLER, Pa.

Country music singer Tony Barge of Ellwood City will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday at the East Butler Firemen’s Club on Grant Avenue. Tickets will be sold at the door. Barge has performed with many country stars, including Merle Haggard, Freddy Fender and Kitty Wells.
