YOUNGSTOWN

A 25-year-old city man accused of a home invasion had his bond set at $800,000 Thursday.

Alfonda Madison, also known as Prince, was brought back to Youngstown from Buffalo, N.Y., on Wednesday by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force. He is facing two counts of aggravated robbery, one count of aggravated burglary and one count of having weapons under disability.

The charges stem from an Oct. 11 incident in which police said Madison and another man forced their way with guns into a home on the city’s East Side while a man, woman and six children were inside. Madison has a preliminary hearing at 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Madison was the prosecution’s key witness in the Lorenza Barnette double-murder trial.
