CLUB CALENDAR


ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center, 260 W. Federal St., Youngstown. Donna DeBlasio, a professor at Youngstown State University, will portray the wife of movie mogul Jack Warner in “The Resonating Voice.” A film depicting the life of the Warner brothers and clips from many of their films will be shown. A YSU instrumental trio will perform, and a catered meal will be served. Memberships are available for $25 per person; the cost of each meeting is $15 for paid-up members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservations for this meeting should be mailed to OCA, PO. Box 561, Canfield, OH 44406-0561 no later than Nov. 29. Those attending are asked to take nonperishable items for St. Columba Food Pantry.

AUXILIARIES

VFW Post 6488 Auxiliary will meet at 4 p.m. Sunday at the post home, 2065 Coitsville-Hubbard, Coitsville, with Sandy Graves presiding. The membership chairman is asking members to pay their dues by Dec. 18.

CLASSES

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s. Details for this year’s Christmas party will be announced. Guests are welcome.

McDonald Arts and Crafts Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the community room at the post office building.

Western Reserve Amateur Radio Club will meet for WRARC ham radio extra class training sessions at 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at Mahoning County EMA, 700 Industrial Road. Testing will take place Feb. 15, 2012.
