Oct. 21

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons on the crime to Howard McCreary, 44, of 254 S. Main St., at North Edgehill and Mahoning avenues.

Theft: A theft was reported at a home in the 3000 block of Derbyshire Drive.

Domestic violence: Police charged Shirley Howell, 47, of 212 N. Navarre Ave., after her arrest at her home.

Theft: A DVD was stolen at Golden Food Market, 4290 New Road.

Counterfeit check: A counterfeit cashier’s check for $1,600 was passed at Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 6460 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Police issued a summons to Shane Desmith, 28,of 656 Riverview Drive, Leavittsburg, for theft at Wal-Mart, and they also arrested him on two active warrants out of Warren.

Burglary: Two televisions, two DVDs, a microwave and two sweepers were stolen from Taco Bell, 850 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A Baja mini bike was stolen from a home in the 200 block of N. Raccoon Road.

Oct. 22

Theft: An iPod was taken from a Austintown Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Aggravated menacing: Police charged Sid-Michael Taylor, 22, of 8142 Casterock Road NE, Warren, with aggravated menacing and carrying a concealed weapon charge, and Gregory Tiberio, 25, of 160 Aylesboro Ave., Boardman, with drug abuse of marijuana after their arrest at the Wedgwood Plaza.

Telecommunications harassment: A woman reported receiving unwanted text messages from her ex-husband at a home in the 3000 block of Heritage Court.

Warrant: Police issued a warrant to Robert Sudimak, 44, of 127 N. Main St., for failure to appear in court.

Theft: Video games and controllers were taken three male suspects at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Assault: An assault was reported at O’Donold’s Pub, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 23

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at Victoria Road and Silica Road.

Felonious assault: Police charged Raymond Riley, 50, of 1161 S. Raccoon Road, with felonious assault and tampering with evidence, and Kenneth Jordan, same address, no age, was charged with felonious assault and possession of drug paraphernalia after their arrest in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: A 9mm Smith & Wesson, a .32 caliber Browning semiautomatic pistol, and a .25 caliber Colt automatic pistol were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of East Webb Road.

Breaking and entering: A swimming pool with a filter, grills and copper were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Avenue.

Theft: Three cans of gas were stolen from an auto parked in the 2000 block of Amberly Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A car was given a flat tire and scratches were placed on the vehicle parked in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.

Oct. 24

Burglary: An XBox 360, PlayStation and two big-screen TVs were taken at an apartment in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Criminal damaging: Obscenities were carved in an elevator wall at Sleep Inn, 5555 Interstate Blvd.

Theft: A laptop was stolen from an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized accounts were opened at a home in the 3000 block of Tall Oaks Lane.

Fraud: Charges were made at a bank at a home in the 1000 block of Brockton Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made at a home in the 700 block of Oberlin Place.

Domestic violence: Glen Lightbody, 49, of 68 N. Four Mile Run Road was arrested on a domestic violence charge.

Theft: Checks were stolen at a home in the 3000 block of Timber Lane.

Drug offense: David Higham, 19, of 2474 Chaney Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Burglary: Miscellaneous children’s clothes and toys stolen from an apartment in Compass West.

Oct. 25

Theft: A Home Savings and Loan Visa credit card was reported stolen in the 1000 block of S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Robbery: Debit cards, a PlayStation 3, games and a cellphone were stolen from an apartment in Compass West.

Drug offense: Kawand Woodridge, 19,of 3797 Huntmere Ave., Austintown and Jacob Seamons, 19, 71 S. Schenley Ave., Youngstown, issued summons for possession of marijuana.

Theft: An MP3 player and headphones were stolen at Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive.

Theft: Money, totaling $2,199, was taken from at least two registers while four suspects distracted tellers at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: Clothing and household items were stolen at Uncle Bob’s, 3690 LeHarps Road.

Oct. 26

Theft: A purse was taken from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Theft: 77 Xanax tablets were reported stolen from a home in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Nottingham Ave.

Theft: Wallet was stolen at Comprehensive Behavior, 104 Javit Court.

Theft: CD/DVD player was stolen from an auto in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 27

Theft: A wallet, bank card and $10 were stolen at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave. The wallet was recovered.

Aggravated burglary: Virgilio Rios, 21, of 3615 Shelby Road, was arrested on aggravated burglary and domestic violence charges, and Brian Ward, 28, of 1188 Idaho Road was issued a summons for criminal trespassing at an apartment in the 100 block of Compass West.

Criminal trespassing: Douglas Tolley, 35, of 1204 Salt Springs Road, Mineral Ridge was arrested on a warrant for criminal trespassing.

Theft: A GPS and miscellaneous change were taken from an auto in the 4000 block of Woodmere Ave.

Theft: $90 in cash was taken from a wallet at Fitch High School.

Warrant: Brett Prezioso, 38, of 4042 Evaline St., Warren was arrested on a warrant for theft.

Theft: Arnetta Jones, 48, of 715 Park Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for theft of 16 baby outfits valued at $178 at JCPenney, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A house was entered in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Theft: Linda DiFrangia, 58, of 2210 S. Meridian Road was issued a summons for theft of a $45 figurine at Betty’s Hallmark, 5880 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 28

Assault: Alonzo Daniels, 20, of 621 Poland Ave., Struthers was arrested in assault of his girlfriend and issued a summons for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A 2002 Ford Ranger was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 600 block of Mallard Court.

Telecommunications harassment: Calls from an ex-girlfriend were reported at a home in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: Damage to the siding of a house at a home in the 2000 block of Breezewood.

Auto theft: A 2002 Ford Ranger was stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Mallard Court.

Warrant: Raymond Riley, 50, of 615 Ward Ave., Girard and 1161 S. Raccoon Road was arrested on two warrants for felonious assault and drug paraphernalia.

Burglary: A residence in the 3000 block of N. Roanoke Ave. was entered, and a computer and rings were taken.

Aggravated burglary:A suspect took the victim from the 4000 block of Westchester Drive at gunpoint to the East Side of Youngstown and then took money and other items out of an apartment.

Assault: Two males were involved in an assault against each other in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Telecommunications harassment: A suspect is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.

Oct. 29

Criminal damaging: A windshield was broken at a home in the 3000 block of Oakwood Ave.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen from Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Criminal damaging: A lamp post was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.

Criminal damaging: A window in the front of a home and yard lights were damaged in the first block of Jonathan Lane.

Criminal damaging: A lamppost and light were damaged at a home in the 2000 block of South Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: A wall made of bricks was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Monaca Ave.

Identity theft: A woman reported fines at the library in her name at the Austintown Public Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: A 14-year-old female was caught stealing underwear, make-up and a candle at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Oct. 30

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted telephone calls from an ex-boyfriend were reported at a home in the 3000 block of Ferdinand Road.

Drug offense: Dion Matthews, 34, of 4702 Westwood Drive, was issued summons at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave. for drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Disorderly conduct: Tyrone Atkins, 37, of 6128 Tippecanoe Road, No. 2, Canfield was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Bill’s Place.

Theft: $50 in gasoline was stolen at a BP station, 3602 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Gina Washington, 25, of 4813 Westchester Drive, No. 101, was issued a summons for theft of $388.67 in merchandise at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 6000 block of Harvard Place.

Burglary: A television and gas grill were stolen at a home in the 1000 block of North Navarre Avenue.

Assault: An assault was reported at Privilege nightclub, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Recovered property: An Ohio license plate and two coolers were recovered at Kirk Road and Penny Lane.

Theft: Samuel Jenkins, 43,of 810 Plaza View Court, Youngstown was arrested for taking candy at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A Toyota was reported stolen from a home in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.

Auto theft: A 2010 Dodge Charger was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft: Numerous video cameras were stolen at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Juveniles were caught stealing underwear at Kmart.

Recovered property: An Ohio license was recovered on Timberbrook Road.

Theft: An Apple IPad was stolen from a lab room at ITT, 1030 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: 15 Vicodin were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of S. Roanoke Ave.

Theft: Samsung phones were stolen at AT&T, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: A lamp post was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.

Disorderly conduct: Brian Parker, 34, of 176 Aldrich Road, was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Theft: Food stamps were stolen from an apartment in the 3000 block of Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: A victim’s identity was used to purchase medication at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A suspect of theft fled in a green Mercury at Kmart.

Nov. 2

Criminal trespassing: Heather Opatken,20, of 215 Steel St., was arrested for criminal trespassing in the rear lot of Motel 6, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A 16-year-old male juvenile was arrested for theft and released to his grandmother at Wal-Mart.

Lost or stolen wallet: A missing wallet was found and returned at Shell gas station, 1704 S. Raccoon Road.

Attempted burglary: A basement window was broken into at a home in the 3000 block of Chaucer Lane.

Warrant: Howard T. McCreary, 44, of 254 S. Main St. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a disorderly conduct charge.

Criminal damaging: Clothes were dumped in the yard and sugar was put in a gas tank at a home in the 200 block of Westminister Ave.

Nov. 3

Auto theft: A 1999 Chevrolet Silverado was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Georgetown Place.

Theft: Keys were taken from a vehicle at a home in the 1000 block of Georgetown Place.

Theft: Cash was taken from an auto at a home in the 100 block of Maple Leaf Drive.

Theft: A gift card was taken from an auto at a home in the 100 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A victim’s purse and contents were stolen from an auto at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Theft: A round mirror was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Ashley Circle.

Theft: A debit card was stolen at an unknown location in the township.

Theft: An employee was involved in theft of clothing, food, DVDs and other items totaling $150 to $200 at Kmart.

Warrant: Porsha McArthur, 25, of 2620 Eddie St., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant on a theft charge.

Aggravated menacing:A 16-year-old juvenile is a suspect in aggravated menacing at the Austintown Library, 600 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Coins and checks were stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Theft: Jazzmen Ratcliff, 24,of 1744 Silliman St., Youngstown was arrested for stealing $135.58 of items at Kmart.

Theft: A necklace was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Bryant Drive.

Burglary: Numerous items were stolen after forced entry through the east main door in the 1000 block of Fountain Square.

Nov. 4

Criminal damaging: A vinyl fence was damaged at a home in the 10 block of Kleber Ave.

Theft: Kenneth Hewitt, 48, of 196 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson was arrested for theft of $15.98 in merchandise at Sheetz gas station.

Nov. 5

Robbery: A female was assaulted and a key was taken at Maple Avenue and Idlewood Road.

Disorderly conduct: Peter Harasyn, 32, of 352 Forest Hill Drive was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Theft: Robert Sudimak, 44, of 127 S. Main St., Youngstown was arrested for theft of $26.83 in merchandise, possession of criminal tools and drug paraphernalia at Wal-Mart. He was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse.

Theft: Two juveniles were apprehended for theft at Kmart.

Warrant: Michael Forney, 32, of 241 Mumford Drive, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for passing bad checks.

Nov. 6

Assault: A female was pushed by her husband’s girlfriend at Privilege, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A left front tire was damaged at EconoLodge, 54311/2 Seventy-Six Drive.

Assault: A female reported being choked by her roommate at an apartment in the 20 block of N. Wickliffe Court.

Theft: A chain saw and socket set were stolen from an auto at Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Road.

Drug offense: Misti Campbell, 24, of 5110 Willowcrest Ave., Youngstown was issued a summons for possession of marijuana in the parking lot of Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Theft: Kim Barnett, 20, of 506 Hall St., Warren and Heidi Wilkinson, 40, same address, are accused of theft at Kmart. Both were issued summonses.

Warrant: Thomas Joliff, 25, of 1441 Burnett St., Mineral Ridge was arrested on a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Warrant: Brian Ward, 28,of 1030 Compass West, No. 3, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at Pizza Hut, 5332 Mahoning Ave.

Animal complaint: A loose dog complaint was reported at a home in the 200 block of Rosemont Ave.

Breaking and entering: A west widow was broken out, but nothing appeared to have been taken at the Medicine Shoppe, 4433 Mahoning Ave.

Robbery: A male was assaulted and his wallet and watch were taken at Central Park West, in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Blvd. The wallet was recovered.

Nov. 7

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Mylindsie Allison, 21, of 937 Mabel St., Youngstown, for criminal trespassing behind the Rebel Plaza, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Fraud: Four unauthorized transactions totaling $141 were reported at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.

Sex offense: A male exposed his genitals to a female from a silver Chevrolet Silverado in the parking lot at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Matthew McNicholas, 24, of 929 Florida Ave., McDonald, on a warrant for theft of $30 in fuel from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged, and may have been hit by a bullet. It was parked at home in the 2000 block of Spring Meadow Circle.

Nov. 8

Theft: An HTC Droid cellphone was either lost or stolen at McDonald’s, 5526 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A shed was broken into at the Pembrook Apartments, 4150 Pembrook Road, and various items taken.

Fraud: A fraudulent check was cashed at Mill Creek Oral Surgery, 5437 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Parker, 25, of 4568 Rhode Island Drive, No. 4, on a warrant for violation of a protection order.

Nov. 9

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from a vacant residence in the 5000 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Theft: Police charged William Matsouris,Jr., 39, of 3473 Meanderwood Drive, Canfield, with the theft of six packs of steaks at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Meat was taken at Rulli Bros.

Theft: Gift cards were stolen at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Arrest: Police charged Jurrell Gibbs, 30, of 621 Purdue Ave., with domestic violence charge and on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A 14-year-old male is accused of theft of goods at Sheetz gas station, 5400 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 10

Theft: Money was taken from an account by a woman’s boyfriend at a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered in the 4000 block of Crum Road and copper pipes and personal belongings were taken.

Aggravated menacing: An unidentified male caller made menacing phone calls to Youngstown Wholesale, 366 Victoria Road.

Theft: Personal items and medication were stolen from an auto parked in the 900 block of Compass West.

Nov. 12

Assault: A female was punched and kicked by a suspect at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Recovered property: A cellphone reported stolen at Weston Center, 5507 Mahoning Ave., was recovered.

Recovered property: A debit card was found at the ATM at Home Savings, 4259 Kirk Road.

Fraud: An account was reported as being used fraudulently at a home in the 1000 block of Laurelwood Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Stanton, 22, of 26 N. Navarre Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear for a probation violation.

Theft: A wallet was lost or stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An undetermined amount of money was stolen at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Keys and money were stolen at a home in the 400 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Burglary: A television, cash and a .357 handgun were stolen from a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Threats were made at a home in the 2000 block of Woodland Trace.

Nov. 13

Criminal damaging: Numerous mailboxes were damaged on Lanterman Road. Four male suspects have been identified.

Recovered property: Keys were found in a night drop at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: A purse was taken from the bar at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Theft: A lawn mower was stolen from a front porch at a home in the 3000 block of Acton Avenue.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a patio at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Holes were kicked into the drywall of a house under construction in the 6000 block of Calvary Court.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.
