Warren woman gets prison term for abusing girl

WARREN — A woman convicted of child endangering for injuring a 19-month-old girl she was baby-sitting has been sentenced to three years in prison.

Amanda C. Hall, 31, of Northfield Avenue Northwest, received her sentence today in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Hall took her case to trial before Judge John M. Stuard, who found her guilty. She was accused of holding the girl’s arm under scalding water.

The child suffered burns to her hand and lower forearm as a result of the Oct. 14, 2010, incident at Hall’s home.
