VETERANS’ BONUSES

Nearly 42,000 Ohio veterans have received bonus payments from the state totaling about $33 million since the program was launched. Here are Mahoning Valley figures:

Columbiana County: 396 claims, $296,176

Mahoning County: 759 claims, $570,780

Trumbull County: 857 claims, $613,808
