Races will benefit Lions and food bank

McDonald Lions Club is preparing for its third annual Feed the Need Holiday 5K Run, Fun Walk and Kids Race beginning at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 26 at 201 Ohio Ave., at the Performing Arts Center.

Packet pickup/registration are from 8 to 9 a.m. the day of the race.

The entry fee for the 5K run is $12 plus two canned food items or $15 without canned goods, and $15 the day of the race. Age 11 and under costs one canned item (optional: add $7 for a kid’s T-shirt).

T-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by Saturday.

Proceeds will benefit Lions’ charities, and all canned goods will go to Second Harvest Food Bank.
