MCCTC annual hair-a-thon fundraiser is Tuesday

CANFIELD — Seniors in the cosmetology program at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center are putting their skills to use as they raise funds with the 13th annual Hair-a-thon from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the center, 7300 N. Palmyra Road.

Students will offer hair, skin and nail services with the funds raised from the event helping to defray costs incurred when taking their state board licensing tests in May.

Services start at just $6. All services are performed by senior cosmetology students under the supervision of their instructor Linda Tomko. To schedule an appointment, call 330-729-4000, ext. 1309.
