Ohio man gets 51 years in prison in child-porn case

CINCINNATI (AP) — A 39-year-old Cincinnati man already serving time for rape has been sentenced to 51 years in prison on federal child-pornography charges involving five children.

U.S. District Judge Michael Barrett sentenced Kenneth Rose on Tuesday. He said the sentence would run concurrently with a 30-year state rape sentence, meaning Rose would face 21 years in federal custody after completing the state sentence.

Prosecutors said he lured boys into his home, paying them to engage in sex acts. They said he sometimes paid them with gift cards and baseball caps.

Investigators said they found images on Rose’s computer of sex acts with five boys under age 16 after his arrest by Cincinnati police in 2008 on charges alleging he raped multiple boys.
