Needle's Eye ministry in Youngstown has new director

YOUNGSTOWN — Minister Dennis Griffin was named the executive director of The Needle’s Eye, a Christian counseling center, 74 W. Kenmore Ave. He has served as acting director for the past year.

The board of trustees of Southside Ministries made the appointment Oct. 18.

Griffin began volunteering 30 years ago at the Needle’s Eye under the direction of its founder, the late Erma Davis. He led a men’s Bible study. He also served on the board of trustees of Southside Ministries, serving as vice president.
