Cocca buys Niles shopping plaza

Cocca Properties 3, LLC of Boardman has acquired the Mall View Plaza, 5580 Youngstown-Warren Road, from Edward J. Lewis Inc.

The $1.2 million transaction was finalized Monday, said James Grantz of Lewis.

The quarter-decade-old, 25,000-square-foot facility is directly across from Eastwood Mall.

Current tenants include H&R Block, Weight Watchers, Advance America and Pier 1 Imports. Grantz said there is one pending lease for a new tenant.

There are three vacant spaces at the plaza ranging from 1,250 to 7,500 square feet.

A Cocca representative was not immediately available to comment; plans for the facility are unknown.
