A summary of police activity in the city of Canfield and Austintown:

CANFIELD

Nov. 5

Mutual aid: An officer responded to a request for mutual aid at the Blue Wolf restaurant, Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman. The victim of an assault had already left the scene. Other Boardman officers responded, and the Canfield officer left.

Theft: Police charged Christopher Scafuri, 24, of 819 Cambridge Ave., Youngstown, an employee, with the theft of a 15-pound aluminum billet at Star Extruded Shapes, 7055 Herbert Road.

Nov. 6

Telephone harassment: A female victim of the 200 block of Talsman Drive received seven harassing phone calls three days in a row from an unidentified male or female who just breathed heavily when the victim answered.

Nov. 7

Warrant: Police arrested Tod Childs, 53, of 12 N. Main St., Bessemer, Pa., in the city on a warrant out of Struthers for failure to comply with the order of a police officer and a charge of falsification.

Nov. 12

Missing property: A Callahan Road man reported he has been missing two handguns for about eight months. The weapons were entered into Law Enforcement Agency Data System as missing.

Nov. 13

Missing refrigerator: A resident of the 300 block of E. Main St. reported a refrigerator was missing. The woman said the older-model appliance was moved out of the house and was sitting in the driveway, waiting to be moved into the garage. The owner said she had not had time to finish moving the appliance.

Nov. 7

Criminal trespassing: Police issued a summons to Mylindsie Allison, 21, of 937 Mabel St., Youngstown, for criminal trespassing behind the Rebel Plaza, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

Fraud: Four unauthorized transactions totaling $141 were reported at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.

Sex offense: A male exposed his genitals to a female from a silver Chevrolet Silverado in the parking lot at Rulli Bros., 4331 Kirk Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Matthew McNicholas, 24, of 929 Florida Ave., McDonald, on a warrant for theft of $30 in fuel from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged, and may have been hit by a bullet. It was parked at home in the 2000 block of Spring Meadow Circle.

Nov. 8

Theft: An HTC Droid cellphone was either lost or stolen at McDonald’s, 5526 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A shed was broken into at the Pembrook Apartments, 4150 Pembrook Road, and various items taken.

Fraud: A fraudulent check was cashed at Mill Creek Oral Surgery, 5437 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Parker, 25, of 4568 Rhode Island Drive, No. 4, on a warrant for violation of a protection order.

Nov. 9

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Breaking and entering: Tools were taken from a vacant residence in the 5000 block of Notre Dame Drive.

Theft: Police charged William Matsouris,Jr., 39, of 3473 Meanderwood Drive, Canfield, with the theft of six packs of steaks at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Meat was taken at Rulli Bros.

Theft: Gift cards were stolen at a home in the 5000 block of Yorktown Lane.

Arrest: Police charged Jurrell Gibbs, 30, of 621 Purdue Ave., with domestic violence charge and on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: A 14-year-old male is accused of theft of goods at Sheetz gas station, 5400 Mahoning Ave.

Nov. 10

Theft: Money was taken from an account by a woman’s boyfriend at a home in the 2000 block of Woodgate Street.

Nov. 11

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.

Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered in the 4000 block of Crum Road and copper pipes and personal belongings were taken.

Aggravated menacing: An unidentified male caller made menacing phone calls to Youngstown Wholesale, 366 Victoria Road.

Theft: Personal items and medication were stolen from an auto parked in the 900 block of Compass West.

Nov. 12

Assault: A female was punched and kicked by a suspect at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Recovered property: A cellphone reported stolen at Weston Center, 5507 Mahoning Ave., was recovered.

Recovered property: A debit card was found at the ATM at Home Savings, 4259 Kirk Road.

Fraud: An account was reported as being used fraudulently at a home in the 1000 block of Laurelwood Drive.

Warrant: Police arrested Andrew Stanton, 22, of 26 N. Navarre Ave., on a warrant for failure to appear for a probation violation.

Theft: A wallet was lost or stolen at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: An undetermined amount of money was stolen at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Keys and money were stolen at a home in the 400 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Burglary: A television, cash and a .357 handgun were stolen from a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.

Telecommunications harassment: Threats were made at a home in the 2000 block of Woodland Trace.

Nov. 13

Criminal damaging: Numerous mailboxes were damaged on Lanterman Road. Four male suspects have been identified.

Recovered property: Keys were found in a night drop at First Place Bank, 4390 Mahoning Ave.

Auto theft: A 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Theft: A purse was taken from the bar at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.

Theft: A lawn mower was stolen from a front porch at a home in the 3000 block of Acton Avenue.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen from a patio at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Holes were kicked into the drywall of a house under construction in the 6000 block of Calvary Court.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.

Recovered property: A debit card was recovered at Sheetz gas station.
