Gas prices in Valley rise 1 cent to $3.30

Gas prices in the Mahoning Valley rose 1 cent during the past week, according to AAA’s Fuel Gauge report.
The price for regular gasoline in the Valley on Monday was $3.30 a gallon, compared with $3.29 last week.
Ohio gas prices jumped by an average of 10 cents.
Monday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express puts the statewide average price for regular gasoline at $3.37 a gallon, compared with $3.27 last week.
One month ago, prices at Ohio pumps were just a penny higher than they are now, with regular averaging $3.38.
Last year at this time, gas was nearly 50 cents cheaper in the state.
