The Controlling Board signed off on $350,000 for the Youngstown Business Incubator, a nonprofit that helps high-tech startups.

The Controlling Board OK’d funding for state office space in the Youngstown area, including nearly $180,000 for the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction to lease about 8,700 square feet of space from the Youngstown Central Area Community Improvement Corp. at the Voinovich Center, 242 Federal Plaza West. Lawmakers also OK’d $129,000 for renovations to the space. DRC is moving from its space on Belmont Avenue.
