MAHONING COUNTY

Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Nov. 16: Glazed chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, green beans, unsweetened pineapple, cloud cake, sugar-free cookie and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 17: Meatloaf, seasoned potatoes, mixed vegetables, grapes, bread with margarine and milk.

Friday, Nov. 18: Macaroni and cheese, peas, Normandy blend vegetables, fruit cocktail, bread with margarine, brownie, sugar-free cookie and milk.

Saturday, Nov. 19: Turkey breast, bun, cheese, carrot raisin salad, unsweetened fruit cocktail, cookie and milk.

Monday, Nov. 21: Lasagna stacker, spaghetti sauce, spinach, yellow squash, unsweetened applesauce, banana muffin, grape juice and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 22: Veal patty, bun, chopped spinach, cubed redskin potatoes, fruit cocktail, cookie and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, Nov. 16: Penne pasta with meatballs and sauce, Italian green beans, lettuce salad with Italian dressing, Italian bread with margarine, diced pears and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 17: Teriyaki chicken, au gratin potatoes, oriental mixed vegetables, rye bread with margarine, mixed fruit and milk.

Friday, Nov. 18: Ham with pineapple glaze, hamburger bun, mashed yams, creamed corn, diced peaches and milk.

Monday, Nov. 21: Cheese omelet, sausage patty, seasoned potatoes, applesauce, blueberry muffin, orange juice and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 22: Johnny Marzetti, cauliflower, lima beans, white bread with margarine, mixed fruit and milk.
