Butler has preview, sale down to a fine art

YOUNGSTOWN

A preview party from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 2 will introduce the 41st Annual American Holiday Fine Arts & Craft Show at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave.

The party will feature a cash bar and a gourmet buffet supper as well as works by 100 artists and crafters in a variety of media on display.

The cost is $30 per person for Butler members and $35 for nonmembers.

Those attending the preview party will receive a copy of the Butler’s collection index as a special gift.

Public days for the holiday sale are Dec. 3 and 4. The show opens at 10 a.m. both days and closes at 5 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $5 per person and children under 12 are admitted free.

Parking in nearby YSU lots is free.

To accommodate this special event, all permanent and special exhibits will close Nov. 27 and reopen Dec. 13.
