Bishop Murry announces new priest assignments

YOUNGSTOWN

Bishop George V. Murry has announced new clergy assignments for the Diocese of Youngstown.

The Rev. Thomas Acker has been appointed administrator of Sts. Philip and James Parish in Canal Fulton.

The Rev. Lawrence Frient will become pastor of St. Louis Parish in Louisville on Nov. 22.

The Rev. Robert Miller will become associate pastor of Immaculate Conception Parish in Ravenna, and the Rev. John Tully will become associate pastor of St. Mary Parish in Massillon on Tuesday.
