Santa luncheon at theater

The Youngstown Playhouse, off Glenwood Avenue, will present “Winter Wonderland,” an interactive theater event for children, at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 26 and Dec. 3.

Santa is missing, and the children will help find him, hopefully in time to deliver presents.

Lunch will be served while the characters — elves, Rudolph, Mrs. Claus and others — interact with the children.

The event is geared toward preschool to elementary grades.

Tickets are $10 for children and $12 for adults.

The Playhouse presents a children’s holiday show every year, but “Winter Wonderland” is the first one that doesn’t cater exclusively to girls, according to Candace DiLullo, Youth Theater director.

“We are hoping this new theme will be fun for young boys as well,” she said.
