Man charged with killing woman, burning body

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh police have arrested a man they say raped and killed a homeless woman whose burned body was found in an alley this summer.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports 29-year-old Nathan Williams was arrested Wednesday night.

Authorities say Williams raped and strangled 57-year-old Elaina Davis before setting her body on fire in August. She was discovered by a passerby on August 28.

The Post-Gazette report says Williams is charged with homicide, rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and abuse of a corpse.
