Fieri to appear at Phantoms game

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Food Network star Guy Fieri will appear at the Youngstown Phantoms hockey game Friday at the Covelli Centre against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

Fieri, the host of NBC’s “Minute To Win It” and the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,” will drop the ceremonial first puck and host the first intermission entertainment. Game time is 7:15 p.m.

Two fans will be randomly selected to participate in one of Fieri’s famous 60-second contests on the ice during the first intermission. The winner will receive a gift pack from Gia Russa foods.

Friday is Veteran’s Day, and the Phantoms will be offering half-priced tickets to all past or present U.S. servicemen or women with a military ID. Boardman-based country- music singer Sarah Turner will sing the “Star Spangled Banner” and a special rendition of “God Bless America.”

For tickets or more information, call the Youngstown Phantoms office at 330-747-7825.
