Christmas event set for shops in Volant

The Volant Village Shops have set “Christmas on Main Street” for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Saturday’s events will begin at 9 a.m. with breakfast with Santa. Call the Neshannock Creek Inn at 724-533-2233 for reservations.

The day will include Santa’s arrival in a horse-drawn carriage, barbershop singers, caroling, the sale of Amish doughnuts, baked goods and quilts, a basket auction and more.

Sunday’s events include an all-day basket auction, pine wreath making, homemade soups and musical entertainment.
