2 arrested in arson, homicide

LAURELVILLE, Ohio

Authorities have arrested two suspects in what officials are calling an arson and homicide in southern Ohio last month.

Authorities said Tuesday that an investigation by the state fire marshal’s division and the Vinton County sheriff’s office led to the arrest of two people from Hillsboro in Highland County.

Authorities say firefighters found the body of 55-year-old Michael Hunt in the debris of a mobile home in Eagle Township on October 7.
