Struthers Mayor Terry Stocker, a Democrat, defeated Phil DeMarco Jr., an independent, in Tuesday’s election.
Campbell Mayor William VanSuch was ahead of 4th Ward Councilman Lew Jackson by 0.7 of a percent, according to unofficial results. At least 30 provisional votes, possibly more, need to be counted in Campbell.
Also in Campbell, council President Juanita Rich lost to George J. Levendis and Law Director Mark J. Komacic lost to Brian J. Macala.
In Youngstown, Clerk of Courts Sarah Brown-Clark won in the lone citywide race. Only two of seven city council members faced challengers. Annie Gillam, D-1st, and Paul Drennen, D-5th, both won.
