Man killed when car falls off jacks onto him

The Mahoning County coroner’s office has identified a man killed when a car fell off jacks and onto him as Richard Johnstone, 34, of Southern Boulevard. Johnstone had to be extricated by the fire department and was dead at the scene after the car he was working on fell at about 4 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Boston Avenue on the city’s South Side, said Courtney Bouchie, coroner’s investigator.
