ELECTION UPDATE | Absentee results for 3 trustee races

YOUNGSTOWN

The race for Poland Township trustee is heating up as challenger Eric Ungaro leads incumbent Annette Jeswald-DiVito, 463 to 387 votes. Challenger Tony Sferra is not too far behind with 220 votes.

In Canfield, incumbent Martha C. Zarlenga is leading with 49 percent of the votes. She is followed by Stephen Maszczak, who has 32 percent of voter support, and Joe Paloski who is trailing with only 18 percent.

In Boardman, incumbent Larry Moliterno has the lead in absentee ballots with 60 percent of the votes, while challenger Richard Scarsella is at 40 percent.
