Crime suspected in Washington boy’s disappearance
BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — Police in Washington state now say they suspect a crime in the disappearance of a 2-year-old boy in Bellevue.
Maj. Mike Johnson told KING-TV investigators “absolutely” suspect foul play because of the limited amount of information about what happened to the toddler, Sky Metalwala.
His mother says she left him alone in an unlocked car after she ran out of gas Sunday, and when she returned an hour later, he was gone.
The parents are in the middle of divorcing and have a history of parenting problems.
The father, Solomon Metalwala, has taken a polygraph test and has another scheduled today. The mother, Julie Biryukova, has declined to take a polygraph test.
