Kiwanis club plans annual Turkey Trot

The Warren Kiwanis Club will host its 33rd Annual Turkey Trot, a 5-mile run and 2-mile fun walk/run, on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 24, at Kent State University at Trumbull, 4314 Mahoning Ave. NW.

The 2-mile fun walk/run will begin at 9 a.m., and the 5-mile race will begin at 10.

Preregistration fee is $16 per person. Register online at www.gopherarun.com. A long-sleeved shirt is given if the paid entry is received by Nov. 17. Race-day registrations are an additional $4. There is a limited supply of shirts for race-day registrants.
