SENIOR SIDELIGHTS

Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: Monday, men’s and women’s needlecraft club at 8:30 a.m., balance class at 10 a.m. and bridge and a movie matinee at 1 p.m.; Tuesday, oil painting at 10 a.m., computer class at 10 and noon, Lunch Bunch at Drake’s landing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., bridge for beginners at 10:30, exercises at noon, and digital computer and bingo at 2 p.m.; Wednesday, watercolor class at 10 a.m., tap class at noon, Tai Chi at 1 p.m. and Tosca at Opera Western Reserve, 7 p.m. (no transportation); Thursday, Watch Our Weight and Woodcarvers at 9 a.m., St. E’s Diabetic Support Group at 10 a.m., exercises at noon, line dancing at 1 p.m. and beginner line dancing at 2; and Friday, Wii bowling at 10 a.m., cards at noon, and cornhole at 2 p.m.
