MAHONING COUNTY

Easter Seals offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at eight locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance. Transportation is available for those 60 or older; call 330-884-2511 to set up. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, Nov. 9: Salisbury steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, grapes, regular or sugar-free cookie, bread with honey, and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 10: Cheese ravioli with tomato sauce, black-eyed peas, Italian beans, unsweetened pears, Italian bread, gelatin and milk.

Friday, Nov. 11: Cheese omelet, tater tots, orange juice, unsweetened applesauce, blueberry muffin with margarine, and milk.

Saturday, Nov. 12: Chicken breast, two slices of bread, low calorie mayonnaise, baby carrots, coleslaw, pineapple juice, orange and milk.

Monday, Nov. 14: Teriyaki chicken, penne pasta, french green beans, fresh apple, wheat bread and margarine, and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 15: Steak burger on a bun, mushrooms, baked potato and sour cream, broccoli, unsweetened peaches, and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.50 per meal.

Wednesday, Nov. 9: Super dog on a bun with ketchup and mustard, baked bean quintet, diced carrots, cupcake or angel food cake, apple juice and milk.

Thursday, Nov. 10: Beef and pepper patty, mashed potatoes and gravy, Harvard beets, wheat bread with margarine, diced peaches and milk.

Friday, Nov. 11: Veterans Day

Monday, Nov. 14: Turkey slice with mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, wheat bread with margarine, orange and milk.

Tuesday, Nov. 15: Southwest meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, sliced carrots, wheat bread with margarine, unsweetened applesauce and milk.
