YOUNGSTOWN

The Cathedral of St. Columba in Youngstown was the site of the Sept. 10 wedding ceremony of Raechel Bodnar and Dennis Vega, both of Austintown.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Rita Bodnar of Austintown, and the groom is the son of the late Marilyn Vega.

The Rev. John E. Keehner conducted the afternoon ceremony, and the reception took place at the Butler Institute of American Art in Youngstown.

The bride’s dress, a light gold strapless A-line gown, featured a satin bodice with Swarovski crystal beading, crisscross draping, a dropped waistline and a chapel-length train.

Matron of honor was Dana Metzinger. She wore a cranberry dress, as did bridesmaids Roxanne Marshall, the groom’s cousin; Emily Srok and Melanie Srok, the bride’s nieces; and Corinn Sanders and Tahnee Jones. Savannah Wood, the bride’s cousin, was flower girl.

Dan Metzinger served as best man. Groomsmen were Joey Santiago, the groom’s cousin; Nathaniel Bodnar, the bride’s nephew; and Mem Sanders, Aron Lough and Tony Marshall. Jack Mullen, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

Mrs. Vega graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is an auditor with the Cafaro Co.

Mr. Vega attended YSU and works for Biotest in Youngstown.
