BLANKET DRIVE | In Lawrence County

United Way of Lawrence County and WWGY radio station Froggy 95.1, New Castle/Hermitage, Pa., are partnering to promote Share the Warmth, a blanket drive in Lawrence County. Social-service agencies who provide services to families in Lawrence County will distribute the blankets. In the past several years, county residents have donated hundreds of blankets.

What: Donations of new blankets.

When: Through Dec. 3.

Where: Businesses, co-sponsors of the blanket drive, are accepting donations at the following locations.

In New Castle: GNC Community Federal Credit Union, 201 S. Jefferson St.; Tire Express, 533 Taylor St.; Lorelei Dancewear, 125 E. North St.; Bellezza Med Spa, 15 W. Washington St.; Mary Turner Skin Care and Day Spa, 2620 Wilmington Road; Connerly Cleaners, North Mercer Street; Tourist Promotion Agency, South Jefferson Street; and New Castle United Way, North Mercer Street.

In Neshannock Township: Professional Pharmacy Solutions and Family First Urgent Care, both in Mazzon Medical Building, Wilmington Road, and The Kerr Insurance Agency, 3417 Wilmington Road.

In Mahoningtown: Hyde Drug Store, 112 N. Liberty St.

In Ellwood City: Office of Rep. Jaret Gibbons, (D-10, Lawrence/Beaver/Butler) 309 Fifth St.

Other: First Merit Bank, downtown New Castle, Shenango, Westside and Neshannock.
