BOARDMAN
Angels of Easter Seals will sponsor its annual Holiday Brunch and Sweet Shoppe on Dec. 7 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m., mimosas will be served, and brunch will follow at 11:30 a.m.
This year, the brunch will feature recipes from the new cookbook, “Angels and Friends, Volume III.”
The Angels will be selling more than 30 varieties of homemade cookies, featuring recipes from the cookbooks.
All cookbooks will be available for sale at the brunch.
It’s a good time to order cookies, pastries and breads for the holidays.
Other events featured will be informal modeling, fashion accessories for sale, a 50-50 raffle and a ticket-in-a-bag auction for many holiday gift items. All purchases benefit Easter Seals.
Chairwomen for the event are Jeannine Hodge, Judy Kimmel and Jacie Ridel, aided by the Angels of Easter Seals, whose president is Carol O’Neill. All proceeds from this event benefit children and adults with disabilities or special needs served by the Easter Seals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties.
The cost is $25 per person, and table reservations are available. To buy tickets for this event or to purchase an Angels cookbook, call Easter Seals at 330-599-5500.
Shuttle parking is available from Phantom Fireworks, 9400 Market St., Boardman, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
