Youngstown vies for Skyball title
LOS ANGELES
What started last June at Youngstown’s Covelli Centre with open tryouts for the Youngstown Ballers culminates at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. That’s when Fox Youngstown will air the second half of the championship “Skyball League” game between the Ballers and the Los Angeles 405’s.
The first-season SBL title comes with a $40,000 purse and a $5,000 bonus for the MVP. Youngstown area locals on the Ballers team are Danny Aldish from Struthers, Nickolas Dean from Girard and Jason Martin of Youngstown.
