OSHP investigates injury crash in Boardman


BOARDMAN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol today continues its investigation into a two-vehicle crash that injured two people on Interstate 680 north of U.S. Route 224.

According to a patrol press release, the crash occurred at 9:45 p.m. Thursday. Damien O. Brink of Transfer, Pa., and Lucilla Stanich of Poland were southbound on Route 224, when Brink's pickup truck drove off the left ise of thr road.

When his truck re-entered the road, it struck the car Stanich was driving. Both vehicles were forced off the road, wheren Brink's truck caught fire.

Both Brink and Stanich were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown for treatment. The patrol said charges are pending at this time.
