Canfield teen pleads not guilty in death of Kevin Kolesar

YOUNGSTOWN

Benjamin Streb, 17, of Canfield appeared Wednesday in Martin P. Joyce Juvenile Justice Center and pleaded not guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide.

If found guilty, he could face incarceration in the Department of Youth Services until he is 21.

The charges stem from a June 16 accident on Leffingwell Road in which Streb’s passenger, 17-year-old Kevin Kolesar of Canfield, was killed after the vehicle veered off the road, hit a tree and rolled several times.

Streb’s license has been suspended. No pretrial date has been set.
