State auditor gives award to Hubbard schools

State Auditor Dave Yost’s office awarded the school district the Auditor of State Award Tuesday after deeming the district’s financial records clean.

“For Treasurers, ‘clean’ audits are the cherry on the sundae,” Treasurer Rhonda Baldwin said in a statement.

Some of the prerequisites for the reward are timely filing of audit reports, no findings for recovery and no significant deficiencies.

It is the first time the district has won the award in Baldwin’s four years at Hubbard schools.
