Sen. Brown meets with Jay Williams

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat, met today met with former Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams, the director of the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Recovery for Auto Communities and Workers

“Jay thoroughly understands the challenges facing former automotive communities and their many workers,” Brown said. “As an Ohioan, he also understands how important auto manufacturing is to our state and to our nation’s economic recovery. I look forward to continuing to work with Jay to strengthen and spur economic development in Ohio’s auto communities.”
