Human trafficking rally set Wednesday night in Warren

WARREN — The Mahoning Valley Organizing Collaborative will stage a rally at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Courthouse Square seeking action on legislation relating to massage parlors in the city.

The MVOC has worked with Warren City Council to develop legislation that it hopes will make it harder for human trafficking to take place in Warren’s 10 massage parlors.

But the MVOC says the Warren Law Department has slowed the progress of the legislation “and refused to give any explanation for their actions.”
