Chevrolet Cruze sales continue to rise
LORDSTOWN — Sales of the Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze were up 183 percent in October compared to the same month last year, but the 14,295 sales was the lowest monthly output since January, when the Cruze registered 13,631 sales.
General Motors Co. sold 5,048 Cruzes last October, the first full month of sales after the model’s debut Sept. 8.
The Cruze this summer posted five straight months of sales topping 21,000. That streak was snapped in September.
GM’s U.S. sales rose 2 percent last month.
