A nice day for a walk in the park

Grace Manna of Austintown takes her dog, Blue, for a walk in Austintown Township Park. The temperature made it into the 60s on Monday, the last day of October. For the month, the average temperature in the Mahoning Valley was 51.2 degrees, 0.1 of a degree higher than normal for October, according to the National Weather Service. Also, the Valley had 3.16 inches of rain last month, 0.48 of an inch more than normal. The high temperature is supposed to be in the mid-50s today.
