Two students receive science honors

Excellent scientists: St. Patrick School in Hubbard sent two students to the State Science Day in Columbus, hosted by Ohio State University. Gabriella Hosack, at left, an eighth-grader, presented her project, “The effect of enhanced water on the athletic ability of mice.” Her project received a perfect score and The Ohio Academy of Science Superior Award. Jack Sebest, a seventh-grader, at right, presented his project, “The efficient use of force and momentum in a trebuchet,” which received the OAS Excellence Award.
