State Route 46 at the Mahoning/Trumbull County line between County Line Road and Lincoln Avenue will be closed starting June 6.
The road will remain closed for about three weeks for a culvert replacement, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Motorists will be detoured to state Route 169 to U.S. Route 422 to Interstate 80.
The work is part of a $800,000 project to resurface Route 46 from I-80 to the Niles southern corporation limit, as well as bridge and culvert repairs.
The project is scheduled to be completed by September.

The American Cancer Society is inviting four-legged friends downtown to help mark National Cancer Survivors Day.
Bark for Life is from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday on Phelps and Commerce Streets in downtown Youngstown. Sunday is National Cancer Survivors Day.
The Bark for Life, a scaled-down Relay for Life, gives people an opportunity to fight cancer through their four-legged companions. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and is $10 per dog and $5 for each additional dog.
Although Relay for Life already has occurred in Youngstown and Boardman, Relay for Life of Poland will be July 8-9 at Poland Seminary High School.
Relay for Life mobilizes the community to celebrate those who have battled cancer, to remember loved ones lost and to fight back against cancer.

Android phone users can now download a Youngstown State University application.
The app, which also is available for Apple products, has a virtual walking tour of the campus with stops at more than 20 buildings. It gives a 360-degree view of facilities such as the Ward Beecher Planetarium, the Andrews Student Recreation Center and Stambaugh Stadium, according to a YSU news release.
It can be downloaded for free through the Android Market online or on your phone.
Sleepy Hollow 5K

The annual Sleepy Hollow 5K Run and post-race party will be July 9.
The eighth-annual run celebrates the history of the Smoky Hollow neighborhood, just east of the Youngstown State University campus, and starts and finishes at Harrison Field on Walnut Street.
The 5K starts at 9 a.m., followed by the one-mile family fun walk at 9:10 a.m.
The post-race part is at 9:45 a.m. at Cassese’s MVR, according to a YSU news release.
The entry fee is $15 for early registrants and $20 after July 4 and on race day. Children age 12 and younger can register for $7.
