NYC man electrocuted while working at Pa. plant
ELMIRA, N.Y. (AP) — A New York City man is dead after being electrocuted at a northern Pennsylvania auto parts plant.
Tioga County Deputy Coroner Robert Gee tells the Elmira (N.Y.) Star-Gazette 25-year-old Arianto Dejesus was killed Sunday night while installing fluorescent lights at the plant in Lawrenceville.
Gee says Dejesus was fatally shocked when he touched a high-voltage line while working on a lift at the Hitachi Metals Automotive Components plant.
The newspaper reports Dejesus was working for a private contractor.
