Niles school board names new superintendent

NILES — The board of education has a special meeting this evening in which it is expected to approve the appointment of Mark Robinson, current superintendent of Ashland City Schools, as its new superintendent.

Robinson, whose appointment would take effect Aug. 1, will succeed Rocco Adduci, longtime superintendent who is retiring July 31. He was selected from a field of 26 candidates for the position.
