Body pulled from Ohio River in western, Pa.
ROCHESTER, Pa. (AP) — The body of an unidentified man has been recovered from the Ohio River west of Pittsburgh.
Members of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission and rescue workers pulled the body from the river after a boater alerted authorities Monday afternoon.
Deputy Corner Wayne Tatalovich Jr. tells the Beaver County Times the body appears to be a black male between the ages of 60 and 75. The body showed no immediate signs of injury and Tatalovich says an autopsy is planned for Tuesday.
The coroner says the body doesn’t match the description of anyone reported missing in Beaver County.
