Summer arts camp is set

Trumbull County Educational Service Center is offering a summer arts camp June 27 to July 1 for students in grades one through four.

It will center around an Americana theme and feature activities and instruction in music, drama, visual arts and dance.

Campers will join the Trumbull Art Guild Summerfest parade and the Fine Arts Council Chalk on the Walk festivities in downtown Warren.

The camp will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the YWCA, 375 N. Park Ave. Fee is $135, which includes lunch for the week and supplies. A $50 deposit is required with registration. Application deadline is Wednesday.

Campers will spend one hour a day with a practicing artist instructor in each of these areas: art, dance, drama and music. The last hour of the day will be spent in a large group activity with a visiting artist.
